ABILENE, TX (May 3, 2021) – Vexus Fiber, (“Vexus”), the leading telecommunications provider in West Texas is excited to announce the opening of their new retail store in Abilene located at 3453 Curry Lane, Abilene, TX. Vexus hosted a Ribbon Cutting with the Abilene Chamber of Commerce on April 22, 2021 and opened their new location to the public.
The newly renovated 3,000 square foot retail store will house all Vexus’ Abilene operations. The location will provide office space for regional leadership, sales, field operations and technicians. The retail store will serve as a space for new and existing customers to speak face to face with Vexus representatives about their services or installation and even demo some of the cutting-edge products that Vexus offers.
Bill Flowers, Regional Director of Operations for Abilene and Wichita Falls, stated, “We are thrilled to be opening our new Abilene retail store for our customers. I am so excited about how this facility will help us continue to build the latest generation telecommunications network across West Texas. Not only will this new location be open for our customers, but it will also allow us to promote our local roots and partner with community.”
In addition to its work force and office space, Vexus is also been rapidly expanding their network across West Texas and Southeastern Louisiana. Over the past year, Vexus has grown its 100% fiber network to over 50,000 new homes and businesses and plans to add an additional 80,000 homes by the end of this year. Vexus plans to continue to grow their network in 2021 with construction continuing in Abilene and beginning in Wichita Falls, TX.
